About the Author
Spencer A. Rathus received his Ph.D. from the University at Albany and is on the faculty of The College of New Jersey. His research interests include treatment of obesity and eating disorders, smoking cessation, human growth and development, methods of therapy, and sexual dysfunctions. I have no strong feelings about this woman at all. Feel free to support her content, but don't write misleading reviews because you like her personally. This book is just bad. It is very poorly written, the characters don't make a lick of sense, people make decisions that no one would ever make, grammar errors galore, and it isn't the least bit sexy. This book makes you feel supremely awkward reading it. If you wanted to read an erotic novel, trust me when I say there are better ones than this one. These sorts of novels NEED to be at least a little believable, but no one and nothing makes ANY gosh darn sense. I don't understand how anyone could actually enjoy this book's writing style or content. The only reason this book gets 2 instead of 1 stars is because she's really good at marketing herself.

One of the worst books I've ever read, this story had too many plot holes bad grammar and the worst ending ever. The one one good thing about it is at least there is no chance this will be made into a movie, hell this wouldn't even be made into a low budget amateur porn.

This is a VERY poorly written novel. It is simply awful. The plot is not developed, the characters are not developed, characters come and go sporadically without any sort of understanding or explanation. I hated it, absolutely hated it. Do not buy this book. Please, please, please do not buy this book. It is a waste of time and money.

About the Author
Dr. Paul E. Ouboter is the director of the National Zoological Collection and a lecturer in Biodiversity and Conservation at the University of Suriname. He has published on freshwater fish, amphibians, reptiles and mammals, and on aquatic ecology and pollution, including the books "The Freshwater Ecosystems of Suriname' and "Ecological Studies on Crocodilians in Suriname." Rawien Jairam is a technician in the Vertebrate Department of the National Zoological Collection of the University of Suriname. He has a keen interest in amphibian diversity, and has started his own research on amphibian reproduction and tadpole development.

Not suitable for field use - and barely more for anything else

Horrendous binding - about the quality of most "print on demand" books. Fell apart almost immediately, and this was at home, not in the field. Content of the work is only fair - there certainly is room for a better, more fieldworthy guide with better illustrations that will hold together for at least a week.
