My 2 cents.
This is an excellent resource. The professors have and continue to work hard at updating and providing a learning resource (physical text, online text and learning resources) on a potentially complex subject.
**This text is different than what we are generally use to. Please understand that this text does comes in the form of loose leaf (it did annoy me when I first received it), which is meant to be placed in a binder. (Yes, there are additional costs if you prefer--I did) It also has the key to the online site, which is an excellent tool, which is only for a limited time--but I highly recommend to get the PHYSICAL text and not to primarily rely on the online text. This text is for both Intermediate 1 and 2; just like it was for Financial and Managerial Accounting. This type of text enables the student to separate and organize the physical chapters and carry them from place to place in a separate binder, rather than lugging around the entire text. So during a semester, I separated the text into three different binders. One binder was the half that I wasn't using for the semester, the second binder is for the half that I used--but not currently focused on, and the third was for the chapters that were currently being focused on. I purchase sticky tabs to separate my chapters and locate homework sections. Also, because the pages are on the thin side, I also purchased clear reinforcement labels that cover the rings (get the box of 1000--online), so that the pages wouldn't tear out of the binders (clear because I didn't want the reinforcement tabs to cover over any of the text in the book. It may seem to be more of a nuisance than its worth, and it is fussy at first, but I believe that I got a higher grade than I would have otherwise, since it was involving me more.

Boundless = Useless

Do not support these authors. We can not allow these coteries to continue reaping the rewards of boundless books for sale to innocent students. I was forced to buy this book for my accounting class, however, I enjoy buying my accounting textbooks so that I may always have a reference. I would have bought just the access code but it expires after the semester - who would of thought. The pages are extremely thin and do not flip easy through a binder, which makes it difficult to read and reference.I cannot even flip to the index for quick searching. I am disappointed in the greed that is developing in the textbook world. The only positive is that people out there will scan every loose leaf page and post it on the internet for free. So look there first. -Cheers.
